Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sanjay Gohil ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with Magento extensions developed and distributed through the Adobe Commerce Marketplace and other authorized channels.
1. Information Processed by Our Extensions
Depending on the extension and the features enabled by the merchant, an extension may process information that is already available within the merchant's Magento installation.
This may include:
- Magento configuration and store information required for the extension to operate.
- Store content or records that are specifically required by the functionality of an extension.
- Administrator information associated with actions performed through the Magento Admin.
- Technical, diagnostic, or security information generated by an extension where applicable.
- Email addresses configured by the merchant for extension notifications where applicable.
The specific information processed depends on the individual extension and the features configured by the merchant.
2. How Information Is Used
Information processed by our extensions is used only as necessary to provide the functionality of the respective extension.
This may include performing the extension's configured operations, generating reports or logs, providing security or diagnostic functionality, sending notifications configured by the merchant, and assisting with technical troubleshooting when information is voluntarily provided to us.
3. Data Storage
Information processed by our Magento extensions is generally stored within the merchant's Magento installation and database according to the functionality and configuration of the respective extension.
The Developer does not routinely access information stored inside a merchant's Magento installation.
4. Data Retention
Data stored by an extension within a merchant's Magento installation is retained according to the merchant's configuration, database retention practices, and Magento administration procedures.
The Developer does not independently control the retention period of information stored within the merchant's Magento installation.
5. Email Notifications
Some extensions may provide optional email notifications. When such functionality is enabled, the merchant determines the recipient addresses and notification settings.
Where applicable, the extension uses the email functionality configured within the merchant's Magento installation to send those notifications.
The Developer does not receive copies of these emails unless the merchant independently sends or forwards them to the Developer.
6. Support Communications
If you contact us for technical support, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, Magento version, extension version, error messages, logs, screenshots, or other technical information necessary to investigate and resolve an issue.
Please do not send passwords, API keys, payment information, customer databases, or other sensitive information unless it is specifically required and you have an appropriate secure method for sharing it.
7. Third-Party Services
Our extensions do not sell or share merchant data with third parties for advertising or profiling purposes.
If a particular extension integrates with a third-party service, the applicable extension documentation and the privacy policy of that third-party service may also apply.
8. Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information processed by our Magento extensions.
We do not use information stored by our extensions for advertising, profiling, or unrelated marketing purposes.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information that is voluntarily provided to us through support communications.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Merchant Responsibilities
The merchant or store operator is responsible for determining what information may be processed by an extension, configuring the extension appropriately, protecting access to the Magento Admin and server, and complying with applicable privacy and data-protection laws and regulations.
Merchants should also maintain appropriate backups, access controls, security updates, and data-retention practices for their Magento installation.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our extensions, services, legal requirements, or business practices.
The latest version of this Privacy Policy will be published at this URL together with the date of the most recent update.
